Building Global Impact Through Strategic Partnerships

Safar Global Foundation partners with mission-aligned organizations to expand access to education, healthcare training, and critical infrastructure for girls and young women in underserved communities across Africa and the Middle East.

  • We collaborate with trusted partners who understand the realities on the ground, design programs with community leaders, and deliver measurable outcomes. Together, we fund initiatives that keep girls safe in school, strengthen workforce pathways, and create opportunity that lasts for generations.

  • We partner with grassroots organizations globally to deliver support across three key areas: Scholarships, infrastructure development, and vocational training.

  • This year, Safar Global Foundation invested in girls’ education, safety, and opportunity across Nigeria and Tanzania — together with our trusted partners: GEANCO, David Oyelo Scholarship Fund, and Flaviana Matata Foundation (FMF).

Medical Training & Healthcare

Location: Nigeria

Strategy

GEANCO Foundation partners with Safar Global Foundation to support medical training pathways for aspiring doctors and nurses, with a special emphasis on young women pursuing careers in healthcare.

This partnership invests in the future of Nigeria's healthcare workforce by expanding access to vocational education and professional certifications—opening doors for girls and young women to build stable, meaningful careers in medicine and clinical care.

Safar Global Foundation supports workforce-aligned programs where girls gain professional healthcare skills—including medical assistant-style certifications, clinical learning exposure, and job readiness support—designed to translate education into employability and community impact.

Impact Areas

  1. Medical education scholarships for women entering healthcare pathways, vocational training

  2. Clinical training access for aspiring healthcare professionals

  3. Healthcare workforce development in underserved regions

  4. Career readiness support to strengthen long-term employment outcomes

"Thank you to Safar Global Foundation for sponsoring this training. It means you believe in us and are willing to give us this opportunity to prove ourselves. I'm very grateful." — Scholar Umesie Precious

Why it Matters

When young women enter healthcare, communities gain more than workers—they gain trusted caregivers, local leaders, and stronger health systems

This partnership helps build a pipeline of women equipped to serve, lead, and elevate healthcare access for entire communities.

Flaviana Matata Foundation (FMF)

Education Infrastructure & Girls’ Empowerment

Location: Tanzania

Strategy

The Flaviana Matata Foundation works alongside Safar Global Foundation to build and enhance education infrastructure that enables girls to remain in school and thrive academically.

In Tanzania, one of the most overlooked barriers to girls' education is access to safe, clean, and private WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) facilities. When schools lack adequate washrooms, girls are more likely to miss class, fall behind, or drop out—especially during menstruation.

A safe WASH facility isn't just a building; it is dignity, safety, and consistent school attendance.

100% of contributions support the construction of a new WASH facility opening January 2026, ensuring girls can attend school every day of the month.

Impact Areas

Through this partnership, we invest in both the physical and systemic conditions that keep girls learning—combining infrastructure with continuity programs and scholarship support.

  1. WASH facility development (safe, clean sanitation access for girls)

  2. School infrastructure improvements (classrooms, learning spaces, upgrades)

  3. Safe learning environments that protect girls and support attendance

  4. Scholarships and education continuity programs to reduce dropout risk

A safe WASH facility isn't just a building; it is dignity, safety, and consistent school attendance.

Why it Matters

When we invest in the environments where girls learn, we remove barriers that have kept generations from opportunity

Together, we create school communities where girls can learn, grow, and lead—without fear, without interruption, and with real support behind them.

David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship

Scholarships and Leadership Pathways

Location: Northern Nigeria

Strategy

Safar Global Foundation is funding scholarships in Northern Nigeria through the David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship Fund for Girls—removing financial barriers that keep girls out of school and limiting their future opportunities.

This fund supports girls with full or partial tuition, learning essentials, and education continuity needs—so they can stay enrolled, progress confidently, and build a foundation for leadership.

Scholarships don’t just fund school—they fund stability, safety, and possibility.

Impact Areas

  • Tuition scholarships for girls in Northern Nigeria

  • Education continuity support (materials, uniforms, transportation support where needed)

  • Retention and progression support through key transition years

  • Leadership development through partner-led mentorship and programming

Why it Matters

When girls can remain in school consistently, they are more likely to complete their education, pursue careers, and become leaders within their communities.

This work is strengthened by scholarship pathways for girls in Northern Nigeria through the David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship Fund for Girls.
